Installation Supplies Described

GLUE: Not included Use regular PVC glue. Primer not needed.

N382S	Tight 90 Ell	1	Goes only on the mounting plate (that the inlet cover attaches to). It will be the tightest turn in the system and therefore catch anything long and stiff right at the inlet valve.
N382/377	Sweep 90 Ell	3	The most used fitting for routing vac pipe around corners. The Sweep Ell has a more gradual 90 degree turn than the Tight 90 and should be used instead of the Tight 90 where ever possible.
N368	Spigot Sweep 90 Ell	1	One end of a spigot fitting fits into another fitting. Great for tight spaces.
N385	45 Ell	2	Use these for offsets and thus use less Sweep 90's.
N369	Spigot 45 Ell	1	One end of a spigot fitting fits into another fitting. Great for tight spaces and for offsets. Here is a plumber's secret - a regular 45 and a spigot 45 together can make any angle.
N388	Coupling	5	Fits pipe sections together.
N383	Sweep Tee	1	Connects a pipe coming from an inlet into the main truck line that runs back to where the vacuum power unit will be. You can use a "Y" fitting instead N387.
NCF380	Pipe Strap	3	Pipe straps are used mostly to secure risers and when pipes are hung under joists.
N380-5	Pipe: 5ft Lengths	40ft	Vacuum pipe, tube, or tubing is made specifically for central vacuum systems. It is thin wall PVC with a 2-inch outer diameter fitting perfectly into vacuum fittings creating a smooth turn so no objects can "catch an edge". When gluing, use PVC cement on the pipe end only and push into the fitting with a slight turn. No glue residue will be inside the pipe.
N328	Plaster Guards	1	Plaster guards are used in new construction installations. If you are short you could cut cardboard to protect the mount from the dry-wallers.
N329	Back Plate	1	To secure inlet position. For new construction, nail it to a stud. When piping, connect a fitting such as a tight 90 to the flange. Finish it with a basic inlet valve cover.
N330W	Inlet	1	Styrene snap-back protective cover. Size: 3-1/2"W x 5-3/16"H x 1/2"D, installed. Install with 329 mounting plate. Other finishes available inc Brass and Chrome.
	Vac Pan Automatic Inlet. Back White or Cream		Automatic inlet installs in cabinet toekick or baseboard. Activates vacuum system automatically with the flip of toeswitch - allows you to sweep away dirt instantly. Great for kitchens, laundry rooms, mudrooms - wherever there is smooth flooring. Rough-in dimensions: 6-1/2" W x 4" D x 1-1/2" H, not including tubing.
	Wire Ties		Strap the low voltage wire to the pipe at each major elbow and every 4ft.

For homes in excess of 12,000 square feet a specialist installation to incorporate more than one power unit can be designed.
